📣 Local Businesses – Can We Bring Students for a Workplace Visit? 🚀
At Thomas Knyvett College, we’re looking for local businesses and entrepreneurs who would be happy to host a small group of students (around 12) for a short workplace visit.
To minimise disruption to learning, we’re hoping to arrive at workplaces around 3:30pm, so students can see the environment, meet staff, and learn how real businesses operate.
We’d love students to learn about:
💼 The different jobs in your business
🤝 How teams work together (e.g. marketing, finance, operations)
💷 How businesses make money and stay successful
⭐ The skills and attitudes employers look for
A visit of around 60–90 minutes would have a big impact and help students connect their Business Studies learning to the real world.
If you’d be open to hosting us — or want to find out more — please get in touch.
